A good friend of mine bought a hound a year ago to race @ Hove.

I advised him to go to a Hove trainer , tell them how much money you would like to spend.

He did this , he bought a nice hound for £1500 (He was told the deal was 1500 to keep it here in this kennel or 2500 to move the hound to another kennel)

Well since November of last year he has a total of 20 runs , managed 2 wins , not good news of late ,he has stopped chaseing altogether.

bad bad luck , another hound to add to the other retireds he has @ home with there paws up......

shhhh

Whisper. I hope this experience has not put your friend off owning any more greyhounds at Hove in the future.
We have a selection of inexpensive share options avaliable in our racing club which has a good number of dogs
running at Hove. The object of our club is to offer the thrills of greyhound ownership with proven dogs so as to avoid the dissapointment that your friend has experienced, and at a fraction of the cost of buying a dog on your
own. We have just purchased a good early paced A3 dog who will go open racing shortly as will an improving puppy who could be anything when he steps up to 6 bends. If any body is interested in joining our expanding club of happy owners then please get in touch through this forum. BE LUCKY .

Whisper, as all owners have different needs you can basically have what you like, quarter, half or whole shares in good honest graders or potential better class dogs, we even have a couple of pups just ready for schooling.
After initial purchase of share or shares in a dog or dogs you just pay your share of kennel bill like normal.
Our cheapest share avaliable at the moment would be £200 for half share in a 3 year old early pace a9 dog who wins his races. You can also walk your dog on sundays in a private 10 acre wood.

Hi,

I think I could be interested in something like this to get me started - Have considered going it alone but would like to test the water first - any chance you can let me have some further details of what may be available at present.

Kind Regards
