Attached are the Minutes from the AGM held on Monday 12th July 2010.

What a pity not many BGOA members attended, this was an ideal opportunity for any concerns to be raised.

Prize money is still good, third best in the country, catering has improved and attendances are up. The track is the finest in the country by far so credit must be given to all Hove Staff.

How can this be right at the A G M it was said that hove is paid third best in the country for prize money.

Crayford pay £153 for a A1,
Hall green pay £145,
Monmore pay £161,
Sheffield pay £152,
Sunderland pay £137,
Romford pay £136
HOVE pay £130.
the minutes for this a.g.m. are not right.

I have not done an in depth study of P.M. at all tracks, but I believe the person who quoted Hove as being the third best is probably right if you take into account all grades, not just A1s.
For example you quote Sheffield as paying more for an A1, which is correct, but if you look at today's Sheffield BAGS card you will see that they only pay £78 for an A5, Hove are currently paying £130 for the same grade on BAGS and £90 for A5 races at the evening meetings. Hall Green who you also quote, are paying £40 less to the winner than Hove for that grade of dog.
I appreciate poor prize money throughout the sport is a major problem, but Hove do pay better than most other tracks for the middle to lower grade dogs and I think it only fair to include all grades of dogs when making a prize money comparison.
